Art History Graduate Students Rebecca Kidd, Mary Strupp, and English Grad Student Paul Doro presented on three objects from the UWM Art Collection in Associate Professor Tanya Tiffany’s Proseminar course Tuesday, October 10th. This week the grad students examined Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec’s Poster for “Elles”, David Siquerios’s Nude, and Manuel Carrillo’s Untitled (Woman and Child). Students were asked to conduct independent research on an object related to weekly course readings and present on their findings to the class. This data will be used by UWMAC staff to add to the object files and strengthen collection research. Stay tuned for more presentation information coming soon!
