Art Exposé: Elissa Peterson

On Tuesday, October 6, 2015, the UWM Art History Gallery hosted Art Exposé. Art Exposé is a monthly gallery talk that exhibits a selected object from the UWM Art Collection on the second Tuesday of every month from 1-2 PM.  The October date was changed to the first Tuesday of the month because the Department of Art History/Art History Gallery was a Community Partner for the 2015 Milwaukee Film Festival.

The Department of Art History/Art History Gallery Community Partner film was Almost There, a documentary about a 83-year-old outsider artist, Peter Anton.  To coordinate, graduate student Elissa Peterson discussed a piece of folk art from the UWM Art Collection by Leroy Archuleta, Bottle Cap Snake.
