Ann has her BA degree in Photography and MS in Rehabilitation Counseling from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.  She worked as a Rehabilitation Counselor at University of Washington, Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Wa.  And has worked in post-secondary settings at College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, IL. and Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, KS.  She started working as a Counselor in the ARC at UWM in 2009 and works with students who have Learning Disabilities, ADD/ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders and Traumatic Brain Injuries.

In her off time, Ann enjoys reading, badminton, going on road trips, dabbling in photography and doing anything outside with her husband and four children.
