Cheri Lynn Price, archaeology PhD student working with Jason Sherman, has been awarded one of the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies’ Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowships. She will be learning Mixtec in Oaxaca this summer as she prepares for her dissertation work on regional ceramic traditions.
