I have a new name, title or address. How do I let the Alumni Association know?

I need to know my Alumni ID number. Where can I find it?
This number is located on the mailing panel of most UWM Alumni Association mailings including the annual UWM Alumni Magazine. The number is ten digits and begins with at least three zeros. You may also call our office at 414-229-4290.
How do I inform the University of the death of an alumnus/a?
Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 414-229-4290 with the following information:
- Full name (including the name the deceased graduated under, if different)
- Degree year
- School/college attended (e.g., College of Engineering)
- Date of death
- Alumni/University identification number (this number is located on the mailing panel of the Alumni Magazine).
Can I continue my uwm.edu e-mail account?
Your UWM.edu account will expire one semester following graduation. You may obtain a UWMalumni.com account (powered by Google).
Can alumni join the Klotsche Center and Pavilion?
Alumni who have become sustaining members of the Alumni Association are eligible to join the Klotsche Center
Is there a fee to become a member of the UWM Alumni Association?
No. We are a dues-free organization, and all UWM graduates automatically are members of the UWM Alumni Association. Request a membership card
How do I obtain a copy of my academic transcript?
You may request your transcript
online, by mail or in person.
I just graduated. When will I receive my diploma? What will it look like?
Approximately ten weeks after commencement, your diploma will be mailed to you. If you need a replacement or additional diploma, contact the Registrar’s Office at www.contactro.uwm.edu
or stop by Mellencamp Hall, room 290 for further information.
I don't live in Milwaukee. Can I still be involved in the UWM Alumni Association?
Absolutely! There are many ways to stay involved. Apply to become an Alumni Captain
in your area or check if there is an active Chapter group
in your region.
