Doors Open Milwaukee

September 23 - September 24

This year, UWM is proud to partner with Doors Open Milwaukee, a two-day public celebration of Milwaukee’s art, architecture, culture and history. This event offers behind the scenes tours of more than 150 buildings throughout Milwaukee’s downtown and neighborhoods and in-depth tours led by community leaders. Doors Open sites include commercial properties, sacred spaces, apartment buildings, breweries, art galleries, community gardens and more stretching from downtown to the surrounding suburbs, and the neighborhoods between. The following UWM campus buildings will be open as part of this event:

Saturday, September 23, 2017
School of Freshwater Sciences Building – Saturday 1-5pm
UWM Manfred Olson Planetarium – Saturday 10am-5pm

Sunday, September 24, 2017
Golda Meir Library – Sunday 10am-5pm
School of Architecture & Urban Planning – Sunday 10am-5pm
Undergraduate Admissions – Sunday 10am-5pm
UWM Greenhouse – Sunday 10am-5PM
UWM Manfred Olson Planetarium – Saturday 10am-5pm

On Saturday, September 23rd and Sunday, September 24th, $2 parking will be available at the following locations:
Union Parking Garage
Lubar School of Business Parking Garage
UWM Pavilion Parking Garage
Northwest Quad Garage
School of Architecture and Urban Planning/Engelmann Hall Parking Lot
Sciences Parking Lot
