Dear Colleagues,

I share with you sad news from the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. Former Department Manager Gregory Fueger passed away on March 26, 2018.

Greg served as Professor of Military Science at UWM from 1986-1989.  He retired from active duty as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army in 1989 and started to work as the Department Manager in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry.  Greg was very dedicated to ensuring that the Chemistry Department and the Chemistry Building ran smoothly.  He also served on numerous University committees where his sense of fairness and thoroughness was appreciated.  Greg retired from UWM in the fall of 2002.

Visitation will be held on April 4 at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, N84 W17937 Menomonee Ave., Menomonee Falls from 4 p.m. until the time of the Vigil Service at 7 p.m. A second visitation will be held on April 5 at St. Mary’s Parish, N89 W16297 Cleveland Ave., Menomonee Falls from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.
