Director of Undergraduate Admissions

Kudos

– Kim Cosier received an $825,000 grant from the Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropies for continued development of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee ArtsECO project. Well done, Kim!

– A new NSF Science Nation video, “Engineers design new lead detector for water,” focuses on the research of Junhong Chen, Mechanical Engineering, and his team. Congratulations, Junhong!

– Alexandra Frankel, UWM graduate student in cultural anthropology, was presented with second place in the 2016 national competition for Ethnographic Fiction at the American Anthropological Association Meeting in Minneapolis last weekend. Congratulations, Alexandra!

– The Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program has received continued accreditation by the American Psychological Association. The next site visit will be in 7 years (2023), which is the maximum length of time between visits awarded by the APA and reflects the clear strength of the program. Well done to all involved in these great efforts!
