June 6, 2016  |  News & Events, Provost's Updates

Good Morning, Colleagues. Here are this week’s updates from Academic Affairs.

Budget Forum

You are invited to attend a public forum on UWM’s budget issues on June 14 from 5 – 6:30 p.m. in the UWM Ballroom East. UWM is hosting this forum at the request of the Milwaukee Democratic Legislative Caucus, which was based on Regent President Regina Millner’s encouragement for UW System institutions to hold public discussions on the impact of budget cuts. Based on the request, the purpose of the forum is to provide the public with an opportunity to comment on our budget situation.

I have meetings with VC Robin Van Harpen, UWM AAUP (this meeting includes the Chancellor as well as Robin Van Harpen), and the CEMAT sponsors group. In the afternoon, the Chancellor’s Cabinet has a deep dive meeting and then I meet with my staff.
